WWE extend your ears. A former diva is trying to send a message and that person is no other than former WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus. If you will recall, Trish made a one night deal at RAW recently and with Wrestlemania 25 coming up, Trish doesn’t mind competing once again in the grandest of them all.

Nora Greenwald, aka Molly Holly has devoted her time on the road participating in worthy causes. After departing from the WWE, nothing much was heard about this powerhouse diva who seemed to have lacked the right energy to be hyped as one of the highlights of the WWE. Regardless, she has her place in the WWE diva books and now she is into a new era, being active in worthy causes such as the Polar Bear Plunge to help raise money for a special Olympics in Minnesota.

For the third time, Melina Perez is the WWE Women’s Champion. She achieved the feat when she defeated the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix at the Royal Rumble in convincing fashion.

Unlike before however, Melina’s victory is so sweet. Coming back from a broken ankle injury and being attacked on countless occasions by Phoenix’ estranged fan Rosa Mendes, you have to tip your hat for the heart and character that Melina showed in their match. The wait was indeed worth it and in fact, Melina has come back much improved compared to before.

Maryse made her official return on SMACKDOWN last night and apparently many are happy. All except Michelle McCool though, the diva where she won the Divas Championship belt. And thanks to the distraction, Maria was able to get some shots in on the former Divas champ.

Regardless, the match between Michelle McCool and Natalya vs. the Bella Twins. Maria got in the picture, looking for payback after being tossed into a barrier outside the ring. As far as the match goes, McCool and Natalya took the win.

Back to Maryse, she sees the brewing conflict …

The only thing definite is that former TNA and returning WWE diva Gail Kim is tied with the SMACKDOWN brand. Other than that, the actual date of her scheduled return is unknown. Could the suspense be killing the return of the former diva who surprised the WWE by winning the Women’s Championship after a couple of matches? This early, it surely is.

Overshadowed by the rivalries brewing in both brands, it makes you wonder where the Gail Kim plot will enter. In fact, if you are following the WWE religiously, you would think …

Take the words of Beth Phoenix seriously when she said she did not need any help in defeating Melina Perez. At least that was the picture of it all when she defeated Kelly Kelly and later on interfered in Melina’s match. And of course, who is the main attacker of Melina? Rosa Mendes.

This is no script folks. Former women’s champion and current WWE diva Mickie James was reported to have been involved in a car accident in Omaha, Nebraska. The icy roads were believed to be the culprit so if you notice that Mickie James is conspicuously absent from the show, she is probably recuperating somewhere due to the injuries of the said accident.

This time, she did not appear after the match. Rosa Mendes (Milena Roucka), that die-hard Beth Phoenix fan, mangled Melina Perez even before she could get into the ring. Paired with Kelly Kelly, the match-up which saw Beth Phoenix pair up with Jillian Hall ended up to a no-contest as the brutal attack on Melina by Mendes. Kelly Kelly also got beaten as a result of trying to assist the fallen Melina, adding some doubt on whether Melina can come out fresh and healthy this coming Sunday at the Royal Rumble.

Normally you would think that Michelle McCool is fruitcake. But after losing in a tag team match with Victoria as her partner, she vent her ire on the familiar heel diva in a sight that was really awkward. Awkward in the sense that we don’t normally see Victoria getting manhandled. She is bigger and known to be more powerful. But the adrenalin rush seems to be one thing that McCool is riding on. Can you imagine her going nuts on a bigger and presumably dominant diva?
