Melina Returns in Style

Melina Perez, who has long been indisposed due to an injury she sustained against Beth Phoenix some months back, is finally back in action. She made her return on RAW, teaming up with former WWE Women’s champions Candice Michelle and Mickie James and took on the team of Beth Phoenix, Jillian Hall and Katie Lea Burchill.
Ironically, Melina got the win for her team after she carried the win for her team. So with Melina’s return, is she next in line for to be the no. 1 contender to Beth Phoenix’ championship?
Melina and Beth Phoenix were former allies but the belt was proven to be worth more than anything. With the shift from a heel to a face wrestler, the tides have turned and Melina is no doubt a fan favorite at this point. So how does Phoenix size all of these up? We will know in the next episode of RAW.
Melina is all fired up and raring to go and wanting to seek revenge on Phoenix to which she got sidelines for some months. With Candice and Mickie James obviously being shelved for the last couple of weeks, it was apparent that someone would come out and it happened to be the former WWE Women’s champion in a triumphant return.
The question is why RAW and not on Survivor Series? Was the timing not fit to be scheduled alongside John Cena? Whatever the reason is, the important thing is that Melina is back so Phoenix better watch out!
