So the Survivor Series is over and guess who survived the Divas Inter Brand traditional Survivor Series matchup? Who else but the overpowering WWE Women’s Champ Beth Phoenix!

Phoenix was no doubt a big favorite here. Aside from being one of the most dominant divas ever to wear the belt, the protagonists from SMACKDOWN were really in for a hard time considering the Glamazon has taken on all comers in all sizes and shapes. The end came when she pinned Maryse.

If you think of it, was the winner of the match important or the was it more of how rivals would co-exist? There were a lot of them out there and perhaps outside the usual self-tagging that was made by some of the divas, it was really the cheap shots made, mostly from the SMACKDOWN brand that drew attention.

Surprisingly though, RAW seemed to have set their differences aside, even for this pay-per-view that may have made the difference. But come RAW, expect everything to return to normal. It is business as usual as the divas return to their normal lives with their respective brands although SMACKDOWN may provide something interesting as far as McCool and Maryse is concerned.

In case you missed it, Maryse took a cheap shot at Michelle McCool, teammates at that and for sure a story is bound to brew from this. Another match-up perhaps? It is not far-fetched from happening. But wait, wasn’t it a Maria-McCool storyline? Triple Threat coming perhaps?
