Dream Match Spoiled by Maryse

It was a good match that many were closely watching. Imagine champion vs. champion in the person of WWE Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix going up against Divas Champion Michelle McCool? What else could you ask for?
Apparently Maryse thought otherwise. In what we thought would have been the closed chapter between the two protagonists turned out to be another spoiled match where she inadvertently distracted McCool on several occasions. It seems that the rivalry between McCool and Maryse is far from settled.
On her part, Phoenix really had nothing to lose. For one thing, she is scheduled to go up against Candice Michelle at No Mercy, a much awaited rematch that Candice has been aching to get back at. No thanks to successive injuries to her clavicle, she now finds herself trying to regain her form as she goes up against one of the most dominant divas in the WWE today.
As far as Maryse and McCool are concerned, it is apparent that something is brewing anew. We have not seen the last of these tow divas and for sure, the next edition of SMACKDOWN is bound to spring a couple of surprises on the new and developing storyline between Maryse and Divas Champion Michelle McCool.
