Former WWE Women’s champion and diva Trish Stratus is making a return to television but it will not be in wrestling. Stratus will be showing off her new television series, “Stratusphere”, a 10-episode show that will feature her traveling across the world and taking part in physical challenges.

The show is fitting for this former WWE champion who is familiar with the wear and tear of physical activities in front of TV. She has been out of the active scene for quite some time now and to keep herself into shape, it seems that Stratus is ready and fit for this series.

“Initially we set out to do an action-activity show, and the fact I was willing to do all these cool things, that was the first idea,” Stratus told Slam Wrestling. “But then it kind of evolved into something slightly different, because once we got to these places, we realized these activities mean something really special in these cultures. So I was pleased to make it a deeper show.”

Stratus has long retired from the WWE, citing recurring injuries to which most critics have downplayed. To many it was a matter of contract disputes while others believe that it was no longer viable to compete if your health is at risk.

Whatever is the truth behind her departure from the WWE is anyone’s guess. But at the moment don’t miss her TV show “Stratusphere”.
