Being a champion is one thing but knowing when to say No is another. For Mickie James, many see here as a fighting and tough champion but it seems she better think broader as far as fighting off heel wrestlers who have combined forces. The two heels are of course former WWE Women’s champ Beth Phoenix and her new found friend, Santino Marella.

For weeks now, we have noticed the growing ties between Phoenix and Marella and not only until the last edition of RAW did we see any semblance of Phoenix’ interest to regain the Women’s gold. Apparently we all know the James and Intercontinental Champ Kofi Kingston will be involved in an inter-gender match against Phoenix and Marella and for sure, these are the teasers to build up that coming event.

James should have known better to go up against Marella. Outside that of being a man, Phoenix is the ever opportunist. Sure, Kingston came to save the day but give that one point for the bad guys. Its not about losing or being beaten up but the psychological factor in matches that is important.

But seriously folks, this match-up does not show any potential title changes. In fact we may even see the worst or best to happen between this so called fictional romance between Phoenix and Marella. It is not about winning the belts that is important in this storyline. It is about making something out of this scripted gimmick for Beth Phoenix and Marella.
