While Natalya Neidhart is resting her laurels and waiting for her “real” opponent to be named, Michelle McCool’s performance at SMACKDOWN’s last show got her attention alright. Michelle McCool has long been groomed for stardom and apparently and quietly, she is climbing up fast.

After convincingly winning her match against Layla, Natalya Neidhart personally appeared on ramp and personally showed herself to the All-American Diva. Could it be a Neidhart-McCool finale? From all indications, it seems likely. We have seen other divas such as Cherry and Maryse try to impress the SMACKDOWN GM, Vickie Guerrero and for sure, it will be a hard one to call.

But if you approach in an analytical way, you will agree that the stage seems to be set for this match between McCool and Neidhart. For Cherry, she seems hell-bent evening the score with Maryse, the so-called diva who stole her boyfriend from her. So with that punchline, you know that rivalry comes first over making things complicated for the first Divas Champion.

McCool has sorely improved from the past months. Unlike before when she was obviously lacking in technical abilities, she has shown some moves that even the streaking Neidhart would notice. With that in mind, could McCool be the first Divas Champion?

It was practically given that Neidhart has been given the title due to her performance and perfect record. However, it also remains that a first loss can be evident in pay-per-views. And that happens to be coming up so you just never know on the storylines that WWE thinks of.
