Before she can lay claim as being the first WWE SMACKDOWN divas champion, Natalya Neidhart needs an opponent. Apparently at the moment, divas such as Maryse and Cherry are vying for that incentive but will also likewise need the approval of the SMACKDOWN GM Vickie Guerrero.

Apparently, this character of Vickie Guerrero is not something that sits well with most WWE fans but the WWE management thinks otherwise. She is not making any raves, stooping down as a wannabe GM that will obviously not get her places. It is pretty obvious that she is trying hard and apparently she is being ignored.

Going back, Natalya Neidhart can be seen as the opposite of Beth Phoenix from RAW. She is full of power and wrestling techniques that typifies the roots from where she came from. To date, no one has been able to stand up to her and compete with her in the way where excitement is sure to stir up the WWE fans. But then again, that is the usual story of David and Goliath in the WWE. You always root for the underdogs.

From recent matches, we can see that there is the possibility of injecting the ongoing rivalry between Cherry and Maryse into the picture. Both are logically sitting ducks for Neidhart but again, anything is possible in the WWE.

Perhaps by next week we can get a clearer picture of who will be the official opponent of Neidhart for the Divas Championship. Your guess is as good as mine.
