If you think about it, it’s a matter of pride and bragging rights as far as Cherry and Maryse is concerned. Apparently, the change of muse on the part of Deuce and Domino is being hyped and we all know that Cherry has decided to build on her career as of late, leaving the slot empty. But Maryse has apparently been her replacement and while there is really no cash involved, it is a matter of who is the best manager diva for the former tag team champs.

So when you see Cherry and Maryse in the ring at the same time, expect mayhem in the ring. Last week, Maryse delivered a tactical blow to the head of Cherry leaving her sprawling on the ring. Between the two, it is obvious that Maryse has followed the heel wrestler side and Cherry, being quiet as she may, the face diva.

In the last episode of SMACKDOWN it was not Maryse versus Cherry but Michelle McCool. McCool is another diva on the rise and while Maryse entered the ring with Deuce and Domino at her side, you had the feeling that Cherry would come out sooner or later. Apparently she did.

And when she came out, you knew that Maryse was not going to let it pass her by. And the result was evident. The distraction proved to be enough for McCool to get the victory and this rivalry is surely heating up. Expect it to escalate the more in the coming shows.
