It’s not as if this match was not expected to happen but for Beth Phoenix and Melina Perez it will. The match was signed and done when Melina defeated Jillian Hall in their last match, earning her a spot at One Night Stand which will showcase the drama between two former best friends turned foes. Apparently you all know the real reason for it. Greed and power.

Obviously, the attention from the world belt has shifted towards dramatic proportions. Beth Phoenix has been trying desperately to reclaim the gold from Mickie James but another former champion has been standing in the way in the mold of Melina Perez. Now to determine who really earns the right to challenge Mickie for the gold, this I Quit match will ultimately leave one diva standing while the other packs her bags and quit from the scene.

Apparently Mickie James likes what she is seeing as she will see two adversaries tear each other apart for the right to face her. While she could care less on who of the two she will face, she has one thing going for her and that is she has beaten both on separate occasions and for sure that will still be the case.

So after One Night Stand, we will know who will face Mickie James. Once that happens, is it an assurance that the titles will change hands? Well we just have to wait and see what happens after this pay-per-view.
