While a former champion is still groping for form, another past champion is standing in her path to try and reclaim the gold. Beth Phoenix is still trying to recover her tracks to get back the title she lost to Mickie James but apparently, the storyline involving Melina Perez, her former best buddy, is blocking the path from making it happen.

Melina likewise wants another shot and with this issue unresolved, we are sure to see a lot more drama to unfold between these former friends. With that in mind, you can imagine how this is going to turn out. One match will not decide who is the better diva. There will be a series of matches to determine who gets the right to challenge James.

But once that is settled, expect some interruptions as well since the loser will definitely take it all lying down. She will get payback and for sure. So with all these complications brewing, perhaps none of them will ever be wrestle the women’s gold for now.

It is a typical storyline. Heel vs. heel will always have an endless storyline. That is if both are healthy. If you see one of them get injured by some accident, then perhaps you will see the healthy one getting the nod to step up to the champion. But while we are speculating that, there is a new face on the horizon and her name is none other than Katie Lea Burchill whom will be highlighted on the next post.
