With the evident release of Torrie Wilson, one of the original cast of divas need to fill in the void and the best bet in the SMACKDOWN roster is really Michelle McCool. McCool has been teetering on the thin lines of divas, not really following a downward trend nor a rising status and with that safe play that she is looking at has really made her to be the top choice among the remaining WWE divas on the Friday night show.

There are a lot of bumper crop divas on the roster and seemingly most of them have equal opportunities if you look at it. Victoria, Jillian Hall and Kelly Kelly are still around but the need for an interesting match up is really a need. If you are wondering who the other diva is, it is no other than newcomer Natalya Neidhart who incidentally is undefeated to date.

McCool is not really known to be a technically educated wrestler but she is getting there. She is obviously training and getting new moves and apparently she is being groomed as the next best thing in women’s wrestling. She is no longer the pushover that everyone saw, being content as a sidekick to most of the men who walk down the ramp each night.

So with the stage obviously set, it should not be surprising if McCool is the next hit diva in the WWE. She deserves it and a lot of people will surely agree that this bright former science teacher deserves to be in the limelight.
