Torrie Wilson, one of the acknowledged icons of the WWE divas today has been released by the WWE. Torrie has been inactive as of late and no thanks to a back injury, she has been forced to retire. Her last match was against Lisa Marie Varon or better known as Victoria.

We have been seeing a lot of divas being released lately but surely if you have followed Torrie’s career, you will take note that it was not an easy decision. She has been there ever since she joined the WWE during Invasion and apparently she is without a doubt among the diva goddesses ever to grace the WWE.

It is quite noticeable that she has become indispensable in the WWE. She was advised never to set foot on the ring since doing so will have dire consequences. Well it was too good a ride for Torrie Wilson and apparently she has served the WWE and the fans well. She will not be forgotten and will forever be in the history books as one of the successful and exotic divas the WWE ever had.

Torrie never won the title for the Women’s championship and it looks like she never will. We all love Torrie and she has accomplished quite a lot. She has been in the storylines and the limelight. It is just too bad we have to say goodbye to a wonderful diva who will always be in our minds and heart. Good luck Torrie Wilson and thanks for the memories.
