One by one, the protagonists for SMACKDOWN’s diva competition are taking shape and Cherry and Michelle McCool are the remaining participants. If you look at it, both are face wrestlers and if you are following the WWE, all seems to be in the bag for the all American diva. Or is it?

Remember, Cherry is not an active diva individually. She is normally the muse of Deuce and Domino (whom lately have not been that active). On another hindsight, you can look at it as something that may be deemed as a stepping stone for christening Cherry into the WWE divas and if there is someone who will make a stand or perhaps a change in approach, Cherry may be it.

There are a lot of things that can happen and all of it will happen at Wrestlemania 24 this Sunday. McCool is pegged to win but somehow, something different is expected to happen. Besides, fans are the one voting and knowing the WWE, anything can happen in the greatest granddaddy of them all.

Taking the two in perspective, you know that Cherry will need all the help she can get in launching her singles career. Most superstars use Wrestlemania 24 as the stepping stone towards stardom and this is her big chance.

Also, you don’t have to win to strike it hard. You just have to do something that will awe the fans. Cherry is quiet and unpredictable. That is perhaps what makes their meeting this Sunday peculiar and for sure surprising.
