Remembering WWE’s Queen Elizabeth
: March 26th, 2008
Miss Elizabeth was one of the first diva icons that the WWE had back in the 1990’s and her unfortunate and tragic death was really stunning similar to how she looked. She was a proverbial figure with Randy “The Macho Man” Savage back then and was an instrumental figure that perhaps inspired Savage towards reaching the top.
Without question, she was the quiet yet adored lady manager of her time. While she never really wrestled for anything, her appearance in the WWE is really something every die hard WWE fan will remember. She and Savage took their talent to rival WCW and that is where she continued to make her mark and her last hurrah.
Today, she is given due recognition for her contribution to the sport. She is not the typical technical wrestler but her flawless appearance each time the WWE went on the air is unmatched to this day. She portrayed the look that could hardly harm a fly and her heinous death was really mourned by many.
If Elizabeth were still alive today, she will certainly still have her following. She is an inspiration to most young divas aspiring today who never really shifted from face to heel. To her last day, she was always known as a fan favorite and the best thing of it all is that she hardly showed any effort in the process.
Elizabeth will always be in the hearts of many. She may be gone but her spirit continues to live on as long as the WWE is here and the divas remember her.
