It is imminent to turn her back on Playboy and apparently, the last episode of RAW was the punctuation mark hit on this issue and of course the controversial Santino Marella. Maria Kanellis was placed in a match with WWE champion Beth Phoenix with a stipulation that if she wins, she can pose at Playboy. We all know that the sudden appearance of Candice Michelle was the main point of it all but as far as serving as the final nail on the coffin, Maria is on her way to Playboy and many fans are eagerly waiting for the copies to hit the stands.

Obviously, the move is geared towards promoting Maria’s career and giving her the added boost she needs. She is not a wrestler (yet) as far as her showing is concerned and if she wants her career to continue in the WWE, she has to do something. And her star is expected to shine brighter from hereon once those photos become hits over the web as well.

As far as Marella is concerned, well, he is still an over-hyped wrestler who needs to prove a lot more to be loved by the fans. Truly he is a no one at this point and stopping an aspiring diva from stardom is a selfish act if the scripts really made it look to appear that way. But one thing is for sure, we will see another WWE diva in Playboy! Watch out for it!
