Diva Interviewers Get Axe Too

Apparently, the downsizing of the WWE divas does not only cater towards the active divas who showcase their wares each night. Even the media staff like Anastacia Rose has been included in the list of candidates for release. Actually, she already has been released by the WWE and while most of us are not familiar with her, she is usually the diva that conducts interviews during breaks of each SMACKDOWN show.
Her forced departure was seen by many as caused by the entry of another diva, Lena Yada into the fray. We all know that the WWE has been aggressively finding ways to balance popularity with paying key personnel to maintain its rankings and this has so far extended towards WWE staffs that are not even included that much in exposure in the shows.
It will be recalled that other WWE divas have been released. Among the known names is that of Kristal Marshall who exited right after that controversial wedding with former GM Theodore Long. Based on the trends, it seems that not even an instant impact in popularity can save a diva from being released and such was the story for Kristal who was suddenly reported to be given the walking papers last year.
It is not hard to note which divas on both brands would be released. We see familiar faces and the ones we rarely see may soon be gone for good. Even the managers get the axe as well if the wrestlers they manage are released. Just look at Sharmell Sullivan who incidentally transferred to rival company TNA Wrestling.
