Whether it’s a singles match or a tag team match, Beth Phoenix seems to be an unstoppable force. At least this was the picture when she teamed up with Melina Perez and took on the team of Mickie James and Maria. The latter team was an odd couple and even before the match took place, it was an obvious mismatch. Just consider that Phoenix had in her corner a former women’s champion as well while Mickie James had Maria who is obviously not too technically inclined when it comes to competitive wrestling.

But as we all know from previous weeks, it seems that Mickie James has been gearing up for a possible match with the Glamazon for the gold. While she is sure to make a good account for herself on a singles match, it seems that she just has to find a suitable tag partner to stand up to Phoenix and company.

So with that said, you can just imagine the scenario when the two teams collided. Phoenix is already known to dominate and add to that a former champion on her side. Mickie is a former champion as well but without ample support from a decent tag partner, it seems to be frustrating on her part.

Mickie is a fighter but she cannot do it on her own. In time maybe she can get a worthy partner if future tag matches are made. No offense to Maria Kanellis, but she simply has to work harder if she is inclined to compete.
