Kelly Kelly is a Fluke Challenger

: November 12th, 2007

Ever since Candice Michelle was sidelined with a clavicle injury, it seems there is no worthy adversary for Beth Phoenix for the WWE women’s championship. Okay so the WWE held a diva battle royal to determine the number one challenger. Apparently, Kelly Kelly won the match by eliminating Torrie Wilson and Victoria in an over the top rope match.

But after her win, she was met in the ring by Phoenix and was simply devastated. The following week, she again faced Phoenix but was simply dominated and manhandled. Is this what the WWE has to offer as far as improving the level of competition in the WWE division? Get real guys, its turning out to be a dud and Kelly Kelly needs to do more if she wants to be adjudged as a worthy opponent for the title.

The WWE may have other plans though. Yup, the usual come from behind trick in which challengers may pick up a victory for the sake of adding a twist to the whole mix. Kelly Kelly may be a tough cookie, but as far as wrestling skills are concerned, she has to do a lot to convince fans she does know how to wrestle. If looks were to be included, then she would no doubt be crowned instantly.

However, the reality is that Beth Phoenix is about power and skill. Kelly Kelly can knock the lights out of any normal man. But for the WWE belt, she needs a lot of luck and proving to do.

  1. i do agree, that kelly may not have
been the best diva to choose,
    but still, criticize her?
    i don’t see anyone else
    doing anything to help.
    criticizing is cheap.
if you really want to do something,
    then get out there and
    do something that might actually
    make a differnece.
see? people want to complain about all sorts of stuff, but don’t want to do anything about it.

but i’m not trying to start an argument or anything, so i’ll just shut up now
