WWE divas have been known to compete either in serious competitions or as sidekicks in the WWE. Many have found themselves supporting face and heel wrestlers and for Maria Kanellis it seems she is paying the price for supporting Santino Marella who in turn has been lambasting Stonecold Steve Austin for some weeks about his recent movie “The Condemned”.

Everyone knew that it was only a matter of time before the rattlesnake would make an appearance and get his chance to react on the various antics thrown his way. Maria was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Never get in between to wrestlers when the issue is hot.

Maria has been seen to have Santino Marella’s back for some time now. He has been a clear example of a face gone heel wrestler and apparently Maria does not care. Well that is based on the way that WWE writers have put it. It may be a skit to help push Marella’s career but Maria is just still considered neutral.

Marella got an old fashioned beer bath for his continuous babbling. Maria would have been spared, but standing in between a furious rattle snake and her man, she was given a bath of her own. Embarassing? Well as far as the fans were concerned, they enjoyed every minute of it. I guess from hereon, Maria will learn, never cross the line and choose your man if you have a choice. Otherwise you may end up being shamed like Marella just found out.
