The Fabulous Moolah Passes Away
: November 5th, 2007
To her last ounce of strength, the Fabulous Moolah never let her fans down. Even passed her prime as one of the premier lady wrestlers the WWE started out with, the Fabulous Moolah passed away leaving a legacy including that of being the longest reigning women’s champion the WWE ever had since the Women’s Championship was institutionalized.
The WWE divas were more competitive during her prime. Unlike today where most of the divas are more concerned over their looks rather than how they can compete, Moolah was all business. Even at an old age, she made appearances to add color to highlights for the benefit of the WWE. Together with Mae Young, they appeared on countless occasions, mostly on pay-per-views.
But as each of us have, we all reach the certain age to which we have to call it quits. What Moolah had accomplished may never be unequalled by any single lady wrestler, especially when it comes to title reigns. Moolah is indeed in a class of her own and she will continue to hold on to that distinction now and forever.
Classy indeed as what most of the current WWE divas would acclaim, Moolah will be always considered one of the icons of women’s wrestling. Wherever she is right now, everyone is praying and missing her already. The Fabulous Moolah, Lillian Ellsion in real life will continue to live in the lives of WWE fans. She will always carry that tag of being closely associated with women’s wrestling.

The Fabulous Moolah is truly an icon in the world of wrestling. I enjoyed watching her clips and when made appearances. She will deeply missed.
