Chyna NOT Returning as Rumored
: November 30th, 2007![]()
Chyna, one of the dominant forces in the WWE Divas is not returning to the WWE as rumors earlier reported. While she has been having tough luck in the world of show business, but the thing is, she would rather work her way there over being mistreated in a successful brand.
At least this is what Chyna disclosed when she was asked of a possible return to the WWE for greener pastures.
(Source) Well, I’ve never been asked. But I haven’t always been treated nicely in wrestling, so I don’t know why I would. And anyway, that’s not my …
Mickie James Rising Again
: November 28th, 2007
In the light of the lack of able diva talent to provide some ounce of challenge to Beth Phoenix, it is best to turn to former champions to perhaps save the sinking ship of the women’s division of the WWE. Mickie James is a certified former champion, but her recurrent failure on numerous occasions to wrest the crown from then champion, Melina Perez, placed her at the backseat. But at the way things look now, it seems that James is determined to make another go at it and many are seeing the same.
But the road ahead is …
Torrie Wilson Shows ‘Em How
: November 26th, 2007
So we often refer to Torrie Wilson as a class act diva who hasn’t really shown and wrestling expertise as of late. With her stunning looks and appeal, WWE fans are simply content with seeing her as an accompanying partner to any wrestler trying to climb up the corporate ladder.
In her last match, she was pretty much a different diva when she defeated former WWE Women’s champion Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon). We all know that on paper, Victoria has a decisive edge over Torrie but guess what, the latter ended up victorious! Now that was a …
Is Eve Torres Worthy of the Crown?
: November 23rd, 2007
It has been some weeks now from the time that 2007 Diva Search Winner Eve Torres stood out among the other aspiring divas. However, the question is on whether Eve Torres is indeed worthy of the said award. She does have the looks and the crowd behind her but based on history, we all know that some previous diva winners have gotten the pink slip some time after they have won the prestigious event.
But make no mistake about it. A lot of the contestants this years where potential diva knockouts. In fact any of them could …
Kelly Kelly Needs to Improve Fast
: November 21st, 2007
If Kelly Kelly wants to make a serious go at the WWE women’s championship, she better start quickly. Beth Phoenix has been steadily disposing opponents and as it seems, it looks like only a miracle wrestler may be able to displace this arrogant lady wrestler diva from holding on to that title belt.
If you will recall, Kelly Kelly gained the right to be the no.1 contender to Phoenix’ championship belt when she won a diva battle royal just recently. While it all seems like an honor and prestigious jump for her career, it …
Mickie James Still Has Spunk
: November 19th, 2007
So Survivor Series just ended and among the events was a diva match to which 10 divas selected made battle. Notable names were on hand including current WWE Women’s champion Beth Phoenix, Torrie Wilson, Kelly Kelly and Mickie James. Absent due to injury was the candy-coated fan favorite diva Candice Michelle who is still recuperating.
Despite her absence, the remaining divas tried to make a match out of it. And guess what, the underdogs pulled it through. Underdogs in the sense that the team of Phoenix had an obvious edge considering she also had Melina Perez on …
Sideshow Divas In the Midst
: November 16th, 2007
If you are following closely the WWE shows, you will see that most of them have been relegated towards supporting manager roles. Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool are clear examples as they have been helping out their men, Chuck Palumbo and Kenny Dysktra for the past weeks.
Well they have their few moments of fame then they get to grab each others throats, but seriously, is this all that divas can do now when it comes to helping the WWE cause? Competition-wise, they are no use at all. Much of the competition has been trimmed down to …
Who will save the WWE Divas Division?
: November 14th, 2007
The WWE is more of an entertainment sport partnered with some form of competition and the WWE divas are surely being left out dead last. This is perhaps what best sums up how the WWE divas are performing and chances are, they are better of as sideshows rather than an alternative form of entertainment that the WWE initially pegged them to be.
Beth Phoenix is a champion but just take a look at the challengers to her belt? Kelly Kelly? Get real. She can even get past lady wrestlers who don’t have the capacity to compete with …
Kelly Kelly is a Fluke Challenger
: November 12th, 2007
Ever since Candice Michelle was sidelined with a clavicle injury, it seems there is no worthy adversary for Beth Phoenix for the WWE women’s championship. Okay so the WWE held a diva battle royal to determine the number one challenger. Apparently, Kelly Kelly won the match by eliminating Torrie Wilson and Victoria in an over the top rope match.
But after her win, she was met in the ring by Phoenix and was simply devastated. The following week, she again faced Phoenix but was simply dominated and manhandled. Is this what the WWE has to offer as …
Mickie James & Tevor Murdoch Romance?
: November 9th, 2007
Mickie James, the former WWE Women’s champ who has been slowing down as of late is making a new twist in the WWE. Obviously being taken out of the WWE Diva spotlight for some time, she was seen as supporting and openly repaying the kindness the Trevor Murdoch, one half of the current WWE Tag Team Champions in the last edition of RAW. The thing is, her presence has become more of a distraction rather than a lift to Murdoch.
No other than his tag team partner, Lance Cade has questioned his focus. While he has affirmed …
