Kelly Kelly is the New No.1 WWE Women’s Championship Contender

Out of no where, Kelly Kelly has become the no. 1 contender to the WWE Women’s championship that Beth Phoenix currently holds. Standing tall among other divas from the 3 brands, Kelly Kelly took the place of Candice Michelle who was supposed to be next in line. However, her unfortunate accident during their last match prior to Cybersunday relegated her to the injured list. Candice is reported to be out for at least 6 to 8 weeks due to the injury. She did not require surgery which gave most of her followers a big sigh of relief.
Kelly Kelly has her work cut out for her. In fact, moments after winning the diva battle royale, no other than Beth Phoenix came out and stare down her future opponent. At least, she had a glimpse of things to come and make no mistake about it, Phoenix is a tall mountain to cover.
Kelly Kelly now has a chance to prove herself and possibly raise her popularity in the WWE. But it will really take a lot of convincing to make most of the fans on her back as she has not been seen to compete that much. In fact, much of the fans were surprised that she came out on top of so many favorites. Perhaps it is time for her star to shine.
But if she wants to make an impact, she better start training hard. Phoenix is not the champion for nothing and to conquer her will need lots of effort and a handful of luck!

People don’t get behind female wrestler, or wrestling for that matter, like they use to. I can see why, it has fallen to unbelievable depths. It’s like some elementary cartoon now. The “entertainment” is gone.
