Maria has not been into the competitive wrestling scene lately and while she did try it out some weeks back, she has a lot of training to do before she can step in with the more seasoned diva wrestlers. Looking like a diva which no woman would even have trouble disposing, wrestling is something that Maria has to improve in at some point if she plans to push her career somewhere. Otherwise, she will just be another sideshow just like some other divas who have consoled themselves with supporting roles rather than being in the limelight.

Outside wrestling however, Maria has focused on learning something that her father was good at. She is training to learn the drums, something that she is quite fond of mastering. This and of course the other usual activities such as acting lessons have kept her busy when she is not busy taping for the WWE. It sort of brings another dimension towards what she can do and surely, Maria’s hobby may be of use at some point by the WWE.

Going back, Maria symbolizes a diva to whom only the rude competitors can punish authoritatively. Especially for the heel wrestlers such as Beth Phoenix, expect no mercy on the diva when it comes to competitive wrestling. Her angelic character may be something drawn up by the WWE writers but surely it will not bring her places. She simply cannot meekly and smile her way towards fame in the WWE. And that is a fact we all know has been proven already!
