Out of no where, Kelly Kelly has become the no. 1 contender to the WWE Women’s championship that Beth Phoenix currently holds. Standing tall among other divas from the 3 brands, Kelly Kelly took the place of Candice Michelle who was supposed to be next in line. However, her unfortunate accident during their last match prior to Cybersunday relegated her to the injured list. Candice is reported to be out for at least 6 to 8 weeks due to the injury. Mickie James, long being in silence in the world of the WWE finally made an impact once more, winning the best Halloween costume over the rest of the divas at the Cybersunday pay-per-view. After a much celebrated and controversial wedding, Kristal Marshall has been released from the WWE. This move may be controversial to the fact that her storyline with SMACKDOWN GM is still unresolved and apparently WWE producers will scratch it paving the way to her release.

Kristal has apparently exhausted her place in the SMACKDOWN roster. She has not really been a figure in the circle of competition in the WWE. In fact, I cannot even remember a time where she really wrestled and was relegated more of being a sidelight rather than an attraction.

Maria has not been into the competitive wrestling scene lately and while she did try it out some weeks back, she has a lot of training to do before she can step in with the more seasoned diva wrestlers. Looking like a diva which no woman would even have trouble disposing, wrestling is something that Maria has to improve in at some point if she plans to push her career somewhere. Otherwise, she will just be another sideshow just like some other divas who have consoled themselves with supporting roles rather than being in the limelight.
