After another successful pay-per-view, guess who came out on top of the heap in the divas battle royal where the winner will have the rights towards facing current WWE Women’s Champion Candice Michelle. After the smoke had cleared, it was returnee Beth Phoenix who came out on top, earning the right to challenge the GoDaddy model for the WWE gold.

Phoenix was among the favored divas to come out on top and the result was not really surprising. Amidst other diva contenders such as Michelle McCool, Phoenix triumph can either be good or bad news to Candice Michelle. For one thing, Beth Phoenix is a good opponent considering that she has the built and the basic technical knowledge for such. Many were expecting either Phoenix or long time rival Melina Perez to come out on top but the superior diva came out to be Phoenix.

So all that remains is the scheduled match between the two and for sure, the upcoming episodes will pave the way of such a meeting. Twists and storylines will sure lead up to the new rivalry in the making and Candice Michelle surely knows that she will have her hands full from the said “glamazon”.

Phoenix is hungry for fame and success while Candice wants to prove the heart she has being the champion. With both divas left with so much to prove, expect their initial meeting to spark some fireworks. Phoenix may yet be the biggest challenge coming Candice Michelle’s way and the latter knows it all too well!
