With a Memorial Day match pitting a selection of the hot WWE Divas today, Michelle McCool came out on top and got the rights to having a special shoot with WWE.com. Michelle McCool won the match by defeating other big named divas that included Candice Michelle, Mickie James, Maria, Jillian, Layla, Brooke, Kelly Kelly , Kristal and the reigning WWE Women’s Champion Melina.

From the list of participants, no one ever suspected of Michelle McCool of coming out on top, moreover seeing that Melina and Mickie James, the main protagonists from the last women’s championship on pay per view were in tow. Further, Jillian was around for payback together with the vastly improved Candice Michelle. From all indications, anything was possible. Despite all the odds, McCool got the rights for the said photo shoot and the rest is history.

The Smackdown Diva has been seen to be feuding with Jillian in recent episodes and if scripts are to be based, expect Jillian to blabber once more on the said victory of Michelle McCool. McCool has been active in her fight against Jillian since the latter injured Ashley Massaro after Wrestlemania and this is expected to carry on to the next episodes and perhaps until the next pay per view.

McCool’s star has yet to shine and perhaps like Candice, this is her chance. Already planting and hopefully harvesting good paths towards a colorful diva career on Smackdown, expect more development in the coming weeks surrounding her victory, something that is readily apparent in most storylines of the WWE today.
