Angel Williams Released by WWE

After months of waiting and rumor running around that there is a Diva who would be let go, the cat is finally out of the bag. Former WWE Diva Angel Williams was released by the WWE citing various reasons in line with her dismissal. Among the key points gathered for her dismissal was the lack of roster spot and talent as well as lack of beauty that the WWE organization was worried about. The impact that Angel Williams would have was severely questioned.
Williams was earlier being wooed to replace Jillian as JBL’s consultant. But after suffering injuries to her knee, nothing materialized back then. She was then rumored to replace Jillian again, but because of the latter’s willingness to be even dripped with worms during the last SMACKDOWN episode with the Boogeyman, the WWE had a change of heart and decided to let her stay on.
Of course upon hearing this, Angel burst into tears. The news was laid down on her by Stephanie McMahon, officially giving her walking papers. Angel didn’t really get the breaks she needed and it looks like she has to try her luck elsewhere to do so.
With regards to the “not pretty enough” issue, it is obviously something to cover-up something else. Angel has what it takes to be a superstar if given the chance. She can be typified to the likes of Sable and Terri Runnels of old. But perhaps it is not the WWE to which she can showcase her stuff.
