WWE Divas to Show Lesser Skin?
: May 9th, 2007
It was bound to happen sooner or later. Based on the past years, WWE divas have been bearing almost all of themselves to help jack-up the ratings and add more naughtiness whenever the RAW and Smackdown shows kick off. Among the divas, Torrie Wilson, Candice Michelle, Melina and even Lillian Garcia have been more than women of wrestling to the fans. They have become objects of lust for a program that is followed as well by minors, becoming a cause for concern by board censors.
However, the new move to show lesser skin was claimed to be applied by the WWE itself, applying a new doctrine so that they can get more mainstream advertising and make their divas look classier than sluttier as termed by most.
New wardrobes have been suggested and slowly, divas can be seen to be more dressed than to entice the fantasy pleasures of their followers, particularly the men who follow the program religiously. Seemingly, this is seen to be a good approach, but overall it may have its effects towards ratings since obviously, people are following the shows for the appeals that the divas project through their revealing outfits.
Whatever happens, everything is bound to end somewhere and the time for change and adapt new strategies is a given. The WWE continues to grow and in line with that change, they are inclined to move forward towards better heights where changes should be done incrementally rather than instantly. Well, the business aspect of things seem to be the best alternative for the new image of WWE divas, something slowly seen from recent shows.

I think it’s a very good mve by the WWE. I want to see good wrestlers and not a TV show of Hustler…
