Rumor has it that Vickie Guerrero, the wife of the late Eddie Guerrero will be the next general manager of the Smackdown brand, replacing Teddy Long. If all the pieces fall into places, it would not be surprising since Smackdown is in need of some spark to boost up ratings. But nothing is definite until it happens since the WWE has the tag of changing its mind at an instant.

Teddy Long has been so far heading the storyline of his impending love affair with Krystal and Vickie has been so far dormant for some time now. If Vickie Guerrero does indeed become the general manager, expect some major changes to take place, new storylines and revival of injured superstars like Rey Mysterio.

It will be recalled that Vickie, along with Chavo Guerrero, were responsible for putting Rey Mysterio out of action. This new twist will surely be something and there is also David Benoit as well who was being bashed as responsible for Vickie sustaining injuries that sidelined her for some time now.

Curiously, it will also be recalled that the last time Vickie Guerrero was in the active roster, her last appearance was a falling out with Chavo and it is quite interesting if there would be a new storyline brewing between them soon. But the WWE, being predictable and all would perhaps be looking towards this direction since if Vickie does become the new general manager, a new ally or rivalry inside the Guerrero clan may be in the works soon!
