Her name may not be that familiar if one would look in the long list of WWE Divas, but Beth Phoenix will be best remembered as the person used by Trish Stratus against Mickie James in 2006. She was the x-factor used by Stratus for their ongoing psyche war where she was obviously annoying Mickie James for the women’s title.

Phoenix disappeared from the WWE scene in June of 2006 when she suffered a jaw injury in her match with Victoria. While she ended up pulling off the win from Victoria, she had to have surgery to place a titanium plate in her jaw. While she was included in the WWE Diva roster back then, she was taken out when she was no longer on the active list because of the said injury.

As it stands right now, it is ironic that Phoenix and Mickie James are both on the comeback trail. James recently tried to regain her title at Backlash but failed at the hands of Melina. But even though she lost the match, the rivalry and brewing storyline is far from over.

Perhaps in one of the succeeding shows or pay-per-views Mickie James may once again reclaim her thrown and Phoenix once again rising from the grave to carry off where she last left off.

Then again, interference on the part of Beth Phoenix in one of the MIckie James match-ups may be a possibility as well and shifting the storyline to somewhere else like the unfinished business between Mickie and Beth back in 2006.
