Melina Retains Women’s Title at Backlash 2007

Mickie James was back for payback. However, payback will have to wait in her goal to retrieve the Women’s Title from Melina, the same WWE Diva to which she lost the title last. Melina has been effectively holding the gold around her waist and it seems Mickie James has to do more than what she showed at the WWE pay-per-view to retrieve the title which she last held.
Cocky and despised Melina Perez continues to brag about her reign as WWE Women’s Champion and rightfully so. She has accepted all takers and all have not come short of dominating her class. As it stands, no one among the WWE Diva roster has been groomed to take over from her laurels to date. However, this issue between her and Mickie James seems far from over. Depending on the WWE scripter of course, the storylines have a hand in dictating who will be wearing the women’s gold.
It will be recalled that it was also Melina that put Mickie James out of commission when the got the Women’s title and seeing Mickie James going out with a neck injury. While Mickie James made her way back to the wrestling scene, it seems that she is still off form and groping hence the need to continue her working back to competition level.
For the meantime, Melina will continue to reign supreme in the WWE. Unless of course there is another Diva who is being groomed. Maybe Candice? Torrie Wilson? The guessing game continues.

WHAT THE HELL i cant believe melina won mickie james is sooo good at the moment she should be the champ melinas just a bragger though i will have to admit that she is pretty good at wrestling
