For the WWE followers who are good on history, Nicole Bass may be an unheard lady wrestler to them once brought up. Bass is a large bodied bodybuilding lady wrestler that joined the WWE in 1999. She first gained prominence when she acted as Sable’s bodyguard and later on feuded with Debra McMichael setting the stage for her step towards popularity.

She was engaged in some feuds, pairing with Val Venis and later on with Justin Credible in ECW. She had later on filed sexual assault charges against the WWE which the latter eventually won. Lately it has been reported that this powerful lady wrestler whose famous finishing move is known as the Bass Breaker, has been encountering financial difficulties and has filed for bankruptcy. Ever since the lawsuit with WWE, Bass was never heard of again until now.

Unlike the WWE Divas today who are gaining prominence, Bass was part of the class that catered more on the technical abilities side, something that has obviously taken a backseat today. Today, the wrestlers are still studying their moves while at the same time appearing as sidelights towards daily WWE programs. This is a large difference compared to what the wrestling world is today.

Outside of wrestling, Nicole Bass was a decorated body builder, winning several body building contests was a key figure not only in the WWE but in other wrestling organizations as well such as the ECW, XPW and NWA. With her large and tall frame, it is not surprising why Bass was easily among the notable lady wrestlers of her prime.
