The sweet Amy Weber

One of the most memorable contestants during the first Diva Search contest of the WWE was Amy Weber. Now, Amy is a very feminine woman but her really great personality really shone during the contest. She also showed a lot of determination when during the arm wrestling challenge she actually injured her arm but gamely finished the whole thing even though she was in a lot of pain. This kind of tenacity and gamesmanship caught the attention of the WWE management and, deciding that her great mix of beauty, personality and determination, she was offered to join the WWE Divas roster.Amy debuted as a character in Smackdown as the image consultant of John Bradshaw Layfield. Amy was a part of the Cabinet (of which, Orlando Jordan and the Basham Brothers were part of) and she convincingly played her heel persona. Amy was obviously having fun playing the bad girl as she relished her screen time and her scenes in front of the thousands of people watching Smackdown. She had a great chemistry with the character being played by JBL and really played her character to hilt.

Amy even had a cool rivalry with Joy Giovanni, another Diva Search contestant, that led to a great storyline of her winning their scheduled match by disqualification because Joy was kidnapped by the Cabinet.

Unfortunately, Amy did not stay long in Smackdown and resigned because of her allegations of harassment from some of the wrestlers. This is quite unfortunate because Amy was already making a big mark with the fans.

At this point it is highly unlikely that Amy would still come back to the WWE as a Diva but we can always hope.
